Drumming Circle, last Sunday of every month, 12:00 noon, Sanctuary

We encourage everyone to bring a blanket, as well as your drum, since they will be offering a healing opportunity during the drumming. Any healers who attend the Circle will be invited to join Liz and Alan in giving healing energies to each participant who chooses to lie inside the Circle (on blankets) during the Drumming.

The Circle will close with a Munay (loving-kindness) ceremony, in which our energies and love will be directed to serve the planet. It seems many people have experienced true healing during these sessions. This work is being done on a Love Offering basis.
Please join us - guests are welcome; as always - we have extra drums & percussion instruments. We start the New Year with wonderful energy!

Love Offering

We have extra drums and rhythm-makers available. Our circle is always open to newcomers. NO experience is necessary! Just come to have fun and experience the joy of being surrounded by good vibrations! Drum Circle participants also have the opportunity to drum along on the next Sunday's hymn - great fun!
Group drumming isn't about inspiring successful drumming - it's about inspiring successful living. It's not about teaching people to play - it's about giving people permission to play. There is no audience, there's no rehearsal, there's no right or wrong, and it is inclusive. Drumming usually brings most folks a wonderful dose of stress reduction, so come out and try it!

A quote from the Sufi poet Rumi (thanks to Nanci Dobish):
"Drum sound rises on the air, its throb, my heart.
A voice inside the beat says,
I know you're tired, but come.
This is the way."
A special outdoor fire and drum circle on November 11 at 7 pm held at Paul and Sandy Martin's house. Call the office for details at 732-9773.
